Our Free Advice
Apply Early
Submit your application at least 3 months before your travel date. Standard processing time is 15 working days, but delays can happen, especially during peak seasons.
Choose the Right Visa Type
For tourism, family visits, or short business trips, select the Standard Visitor Visa. Double-check if your purpose fits within this category.
Provide a Clear Itinerary
Include a day-by-day travel plan, and major activities. This builds trust and shows preparation.
Show Strong Ties to Your Home Country
Demonstrate that you intend to return—include job letters, property ownership, family obligations, or ongoing education.
Proof of Funds is Crucial
Provide bank statements for at least 6 months, showing consistent income and enough balance to cover your UK stay.
Include All Supporting Documents
Submit documents like employment proof, invitation letters (if visiting someone), accommodation bookings, and travel insurance.
Avoid Inconsistent Information
Double-check your application form. Inconsistencies between your form and supporting documents can lead to rejection.
Be Honest About Your Travel History
Declare all past visas and travel, especially to countries like the US, Canada, and Schengen zone. It builds credibility.
Use the Priority Visa Option (if urgent)
If you’re short on time, consider the Priority Visa Service, which aims to process applications in 5 working days, for an extra fee.
If possible apply for a shorter duration visa if it’s your first visit.
If you do not have a lot of travel history outside India, aim at a shorter duration visa and building a history first.
